Marcus Watkin

I'm Marcus and was 36, self-employed with my own car valeting business and travelling on my motor bike at 60mph in 2002. Unfortunately, an eighty year old with bad eyesight was also travelling at 60 mph in the opposite direction and hit me square on. After many weeks on the critical list and many weeks unconscious, I finally emerged as C5 incomplete at Oswestry Spinal Unit.

Although I need three Personal Assistants to help me day to day, I feel lucky. I'm lucky to be alive and I'm lucky to have a lovely family and lovely children. I try to give a bit back by doing talks and helping train new carers. And I go online to this site to check out what other people are saying online.
