Healthy, Wealthy and Wise
In life, we all aspire to be Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.
When you’re spinal cord injured, achieving all three can feel like quite a challenge!
With this in mind, and with the help of funding received from the Big Lottery Fund, SIA devised its
Healthy, Wealthy and Wise project.
Healthy. Run by the SIA
Adviceline team, this section of the project deals with a range of health
issues facing the SCI community.
Wealthy. Headed by our Employment Advisor,
John Leonard, the Workwise project aims to get people with an SCI back in to the
workplace on a paid or voluntary basis.
Wise. Ageing with SCI is a growing
concern and our Ageing Well Advisor,
Joy Sinclair, is heading this initiative to provide help and information for those
who are ageing with a SCI.
