SIA has published a new book, just for teenagers who’ve become spinal cord
injured. If this is you, or you work with young people with paraplegia or
tetraplegia, you need to get your hands on a copy NOW!
The book is called ‘Wha’ever…A Teenager’s Guide to Spinal Cord Injury’ and is
written by Meg Harper who worked with a group of spinal cord injured teenagers
to make sure she got it right. The book talks about the changes to the body as a
result of spinal cord injury, and follows the lives of Becca, Dee, Jamal and Sam
as they deal with their new lives following paralysis.

"‘Wha'ever’ deals with a range of issues from the facts about spinal
cord injury and healthy lifestyle tips for those with SCI, to tips for
holidaying, sport and handy fashion tips for wheelchair users.
