A Guide To Using the Message Board
Registering to use the message board
To start with you must have registered to use the message board by clicking on the New User option on the SIA Message Board screen and entering the required information.
Please also note that there are rules of conduct for anyone wishing to post on the SIA
Message Board, these are available on the website.

To sign in to the message board for the first time
Once you have registered to use the SIA Message board you will receive an email to confirm your details. (If you do not receive this email then please contact us at
webpannel@spinal.co.uk )
The email will contain a link which you must click on to activate your registration.
Once you have clicked through on the link you will be ready to sign in to the message board. To do this you must enter your username and password, which you chose when registering, in to the boxes on the returning user sign in page and click “Submit”.
If you forget either of these details you can click on the Forgotten your password link or email us and we will email you your login details

To post a new message in a forum
To post a message, first click through the forum in which you would like your message to appear, such as General Chat, Pain Management or Other Health Matters.
Once you are in this forum you will be given the chance to enter your post under the list of existing posts.
Simply enter an appropriate heading in the Title box and type your message in the Content box below it.
Once this is done click submit and you’re message will be submitted for moderating.
REMEMBER due to the way the message board is moderated your message will only
appear once it has been moderated – therefore it will not appear instantly.

To reply to a message in a forum
To reply to an existing message, click through to the appropriate forum and then to the message to which you wish to reply.
At the end of the existing posts there will be a New Reply box.
Type your reply in here and click Submit Post.
Again, please remember that your message will be submitted for moderating and will therefore not appear instantly.
