SIA is governed by a board of Trustees known as the Governing Council.  Our trustees are a diverse group of people who differ in age, gender, experience and the level of paralysis they have following spinal cord injury. They are elected by spinal cord injured members of SIA and work for us in a voluntary capacity.  Between them they offer a range of valuable skills and experience.

Our Governing Council meets four times a year and trustees also serve on various other sub-committees and working groups to ensure that SIA is doing the job it was set up to do in accordance with the laws and regulations governing UK charities.
