In April 2012 the Department of Health introduced deadlines for making retrospective claims for NHS Continuing Healthcare. The deadlines will apply to anyone wanting to make a claim for NHS Continuing Healthcare relating to the period 1 April 2004 to 31 March 2012 who hasn't yet registered their claim with their local health authority.
