The 2011-12 campaign on Doorstep Selling launched on 20 July 2011 and aims to empower elderly or disabled consumers to make effective purchasing decisions when buying home repairs on their doorstep and to help reduce their vulnerability to rogue traders. From the end of September this campaign has widened to cover doorstep selling of mobility aid products such as wheelchairs, scooters and stair lifts.
