Gibbs Fund for Life Membership Awards

SIA is able to offer a further 10 free Life Memberships to SCI people thanks to the generosity of the Gibbs Fund, who are supporting the award of free Life memberships over a five year period. 

This is the second year that free Life memberships will be awarded, so if you are spinal cord injured and would like to enter your details into the draw then please send us your name, address telephone number and email address via email to c.stribling@spinal.co.uk or by post to: Life Membership Draw, SIA House, 2 Trueman Place, Oldbrook, Milton Keynes MK6 2HH

The draw is open to both existing members and new joiners, but is restricted to spinal cord injured people only.  Ten names will be drawn from amongst the entries received by the SIA Trustee board at their February 2012 meeting, with draw winners being notified individually thereafter.  Existing members who are lucky enough to be selected, but who have already paid their subscription for the year, will receive their Life Membership award from the date of their next subscription renewal.

SIA gratefully acknowledges the support of the Gibbs Fund for Life Membership Awards, whose donation specifically acknowledges that those living with SCI have ever-changing needs in terms of the advice and support required over the period of their lifetime. It also acknowledges that for some, paying subscriptions to organisations such as SIA may be financially difficult and so aims to assist by covering the cost of Life membership.
