NICE guidelines on Pressure Ulcers

SIA trustees Raquel Siganporia and John Borthwick have been invited to join the National Institute of Clinical Excellence’s (NICE) Guideline Development Group Pressure Ulcers as patient representatives. NICE is the independent organisation which is responsible for providing national guidance on promoting good health and preventing and treating ill health. Over the next 24 months the panel will oversee the production of NICE Guidelines on Pressure Ulcers, and we hope that Raquel and John’s powerful voice on the panel and will positively influence the national guidelines on a subject which is of major concern for a great many SCI people.
