Jeremy Moore has joined as the new Director of Independent Living and the Office for Disability Issues (ODI)
Jeremy's remit will encompass all disability issues, including employment, benefits and the ODI, reflecting a more joined up approach across Government.
Welcoming Jeremy's appointment, Maria Miller, the Minister for Disabled People, said:
"Jeremy brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise and I look forward to working with him in engaging with disabled people and disability organisations to ensure they are fully involved in the decisions which affect their lives."

Jeremy has been at the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) since 2001. He has held various roles in DWP, most recently as Director of the Departmental Transformation Programme. He was also responsible for teams dealing with disability and employment and with labour market disadvantage.
He was a Non-executive Director of the Student Loans Company for 4 years. From 1998-2000 he was on secondment to the Treasury, running the Environment, Transport and the Regions spending team.
Jeremy studied at the London School of Economics as an undergraduate and postgraduate. In his spare time he tries to keep up his French and Italian.
