Personal Independent Payments consultation
On Monday 16th of January the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) released the second stage of their Personal Independence Payments (PIPs) consultation. This consultation is intended to seek views on the second draft of the assessment criteria for Personal Independence Payment and in particular on the changes that have been made since the first draft, the proposed descriptor weightings and entitlement thresholds and the draft regulations.

The Department of Work and Pensions has also produced a detailed information sheet with a number of frequently asked questions on PIPs, which are due to replace the Disability Living Allowance (DLA) from April 2013.
