Are you spinal cord injured and always wanted to take part in the Virgin London Marathon?
Well now is your chance! In 2012 the Virgin London marathon organisers are allowing 12 non-elite wheelchair users to take part in the marathon as part of a risk assessment exercise. In the past only elite wheelchair users have been able to take part.

Participants will need to be able to complete, or have completed a Half Marathon in under three hours, for example the Silverstone Half Marathon. Participants will also meet up for a chat with the Elite Wheelchair Director at London Marathon prior to taking part. The great advantage of taking part in this risk assessment trial is that you are also not committed to raise a minimum sponsorship target.
