Gibbs Fund for Life Membership Awards

SIA has been fortunate enough to receive a very generous donation that will allow us to offer 10 free Life Memberships each year for the next five years.

The donation is to specifically acknowledge that those living with SCI have ever-changing needs in terms of the advice and support required over the period of their lifetime. It also acknowledges that for some, paying subscriptions to organisations such as SIA may be financially difficult and so aims to assist by covering the cost of Life membership.

Each year for the next five years SIA will draw 10 names from amongst those who put forward their details for entry into a draw. The draw is open to both existing members and new joiners, but is restricted to spinal cord injured people only. Names will be drawn by the Trustees at their February meeting, with draw winners being notified individually and all names published in the April issue of forward. For those existing members lucky enough to be selected but who have already paid their subscription for the year, the Life Membership will apply from the date of their next renewal.
