Para-llelUniverse.com was set up by Vince Barton, (C7i 2009), to allow those affected by SCI to publish their poems, stories and pictures.
Standing Start has been established with the aim of providing an exercise based rehabilitation programme for SCI patients after discharge. The programme utilises an innovative range of active exercises to help regain function and improve core strength. This, combined with the use of FES and load bearing exercise equipment, allows individuals the opportunity to improve their mobility, muscle tone and overall health and fitness.
