SIA has been lucky enough to secure an appeal on BBC Radio 4. The appeal has been written and is being presented by Melanie Reid, the Times journalist who broke her neck and back after falling from a horse in April 2010.
The appeal will first air on Sunday 2nd October at 7.55am and will be played again at 9.26pm. There will be one more airing on Thursday 6th October at 3.27pm. The appeal will focus on Melanie’s own experience of life after spinal cord injury and the importance of peer support. Donations from the appeal will help us to continue delivering our vital peer services to newly injured people and their families across the country.
