David Gairns

I am a semi-retired Chartered Accountant based in Edinburgh, and was a Senior Partner with KPMG until 1991.  I was non-Executive Director of eight public companies in Hong Kong between 1992 and 2002, including the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation, and was also a member of many governmental bodies in that country. I am a former President of the Hong King Society of Accountants and am currently non-Executive Director of Edinburgh Dragon Trust UK plc and BW Offshore Ltd (Bermuda).  My son, Robert, sustained a C3/4 injury playing rugby therefore I am keen to continue my support for all those with SCI, including Robert.
