The Karrimor Great Trail Challenge

The Karrimor Great Trail Challenge is a new trail running event, taking place on Sunday 9th June 2013 in the Lake District. From the organisers of the Bupa Great North Run, the event will feature 10km, half marathon and marathon events all staged on the same day.

Set in one of the UK’s most scenic locations, it starts and finishes in Fitz Park, Keswick and takes in beautiful views of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite from the path below Skiddaw.

Thousands of people will take part in three events across the day, from established trail runners to walkers and novices, all experiencing an exciting new event in a beautiful area of the UK.

Medical History and Fitness Confirmation	A challenge of this nature is a strenuous activity and the decision to swim should not be taken lightly. If you are not a regular runner you should seek professional advice about your fitness and training requirements If you are over 60 years or if you have any medical conditions that could be adversely affected by exercise, particularly a heart condition, or if you are in doubt about your health, you must obtain a medical certificate from your doctor. Please confirmthat to the best of your knowledge your general state of health and firness is good and you take full responsibility for yourself

I will agree to pay the appropriate registration fee for the charity place for the race I wish to take part in. I commit to raise the minimum sponsorship for the charity place for the race I wish to take part in. I will ensure that the minimum sponsorship is received by SIA no later than 4 weeks after the event. If I have secured my own place then I commit to raisiing as much as I can. You will be entitled to a full fundraising pack and Running Vest. I will be over the age of 18 on the day of the event.
