The organisation comprises offices in regional locations in the UK as well as the main cities made up of dedicated teams in a thriving, fast paced environment.  Your potential colleagues at Michael Page genuinely embrace the company’s values which are:  make it fun, never give up, work as a team, be passionate and take pride.

Michael Page is dedicated to diversity and champions a number of initiatives to increase opportunities for individuals from all sections of the community.  We are a corporate member of the Employers Forum on Disability and have recently launched an exciting initiative offering valuable work placements for individuals preparing to return to the workplace following a spinal cord injury.   We understand this must be a daunting prospect for many of you and would like to offer our support in regaining confidence, learning new skills, careers advice and genuinely enjoying being part of our enthusiastic, encouraging teams.

If you possess commercial, professional or other relevant experience/aspirations  and can demonstrate such competencies as:  initiative, goal orientation, openness, passion and self motivation we would be delighted to give you further information on our planned programme.

There will be an  assessment process tailored to your individual needs which will comprise an informal conversation as a starting point  followed by a day spent in one of our offices.  Interested candidates will be in small groups enabling you to feel comfortable and able to gain an in depth insight into our business by meeting Managers, Directors and potential colleagues.  We will provide you with information regarding the training and advice on offer; the types of roles you could experience; potential longer term options in our business and for you to feel confident regarding the support available.  You will also participate in some fun, team related activities which will also help you to consider whether or not the environment will suit you at this stage in your development.

Once you start working with us you will gain practical experience and exposure to all aspects of the role; training and coaching to enable you to carry out the role independently; feedback on how you performed in aspects of the role; career advice encompassing CV and interview guidance.  We hope all of this will increase your confidence, assisting you in resuming or start a career in your chosen field, as appropriate. We also hope you will enjoy the fun and social aspect of working with us.

Locations of the work placements will be entirely dependent on the needs of the participants and whether the role is in one of our operational or support teams.  These locations will include London, Weybridge, Birmingham, Manchester (but not exclusively).

If you would like more information on this exciting new initiative contact John Leonard on 0845 678 6633 Ext 216 or
