Payroll Giving

You can support people who are spinal cord injured by making a regular contribution through your payroll.

Give as you Earn

Regularly donating a fixed sum of money from your salary is a simple way to give. It's also the most tax effective, because donations are deducted before you pay tax.

For example, if you donate £10, only £8 comes out of your salary and the taxman takes the rest. Or if you're on a higher tax rate (40%), only £6 comes out of your salary and the taxman pays the rest.

How you'll be helping

By giving from your salary each payday, you will be helping us to provide vital services throughout the UK. The fact that we know how much and how often you will donate meansSupporting our Adviceline we can budget effectively and plan ahead.

And you will know that SIA is able to make the best use of your regular, tax-free donation.

The money you donate will help us provide services such as our Advice Line and Peer Support Officers.

How do I arrange it?

Contact your Payroll department and find out if your company offers a payroll giving scheme.

If the answer is yes, you can indicate that you would like to donate to SIA through your pay by simply downloading the Payroll Giving Form – fill out and give to your payroll department.

Your monthly donations will then come straight out of your pay, before tax, each month.

If you would like further information on how the scheme works, please call Elizabeth Wright on 0845 678 6633 ext 229 or email e.wright@spinal.co.uk
