Printer Cartidges/Mobile Phones

They say one person’s rubbish is another person’s treasure - this is certainly the case for SIA. We have just launched a new fundraising campaign that will turn old, damaged and broken mobile phones into much needed funds for the SIA. With fancy new mobile phones coming onto the market every month, people are replacing their handsets more than ever.  The old ones usually end up in the bin, or are thrown in a cupboard or drawer, adding to the millions of redundant mobile phones piling up across the UK.

SIA, is running their fundraising recycling campaign in partnership with Recyclewise, who will give SIA up to £200 for every old mobile phone collected. They can even recycle faulty and broken handsets, batteries and chargers! So why not donate your old mobile phones today! You’ll be helping towards our valuable work and helping the environment at the same time. If you would like to make an individual donation of you unwanted mobile phone, you can simply pop it into any old envelope, bag or similar and address them to FREEPOST RECYCLEWISE – SIA.  Then all you need to do is just pop it into your local post box or post office or call 0203 177 0100 to arrange a free collection if you have 10 items or more.

Mobile phones of any make, model, age or condition are applicable whether working or none working, chargers are optional. Money can also be earned for mp3 players, digital cameras and even games consoles, so please get routing through those drawers as the potential impact these funds make is tremendous.

Foreign Currency

Have you been abroad this summer? Don’t let that spare foreign currency go to waste when you get back.

Send any leftover change to SIA and we'll turn it into cash for our vital work. We collect notes and coins of any currency and old European currencies that are no longer valid.

If you have coinage weighing 10kg or more we can arrange a free collection. Just call us on 0845 678 6633 ext 229 or email e.wright@spinal.co.uk

Or send your foreign currency to us at SIA House

Stamps

We still need your stamps!

We still want any old postage stamps you may have so please keep collecting them.  Below are the instructions for sending your stamp collection:

  • Please leave approx 1/2 to 1cm of envelope bordering each stamp. The rest of the envelope can be discarded (and will make it cheaper to send)
  • Please note that if stamps have too much excess paper agents will not buy the stamps.
  • Please do not remove the stamp off the envelope as they are damaged more easily.
  • Please seperate the stamps into three categories: Small GB and standard large stamps, Large Picture GB and Foreign.
  • The stamps so not have to be sorted into individual countries or prices etc
  • The value of the stamp does not matter, so 1p stamps can be grouped together with £1 stamps.

Collected stamps should be sent to:
