Cancellation and Returns Policy

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders for the purchase of goods from the www.spinal.co.uk site.

You may only place an order for goods if you agree to these terms and conditions. By placing an order you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions as governing your order.  This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.  All profits made from the sale of goods are paid to the Spinal Injuries Association (Registered charity number 1054097)

PURCHASING - When you submit your order you are allowing spinal.co.uk to use your personal details to fulfil your order. In the event of there being a problem with your order we will communicate with you via e-mail, telephone or letter. All prices on this website will remain unchanged, with the exception of any unexpected VAT changes. The supply of goods from this site is subject to availability and it is not always possible for us to inform you at the time you place your order whether the goods you want are still available for purchase. In the event of this happening a carefully selected alternative or a full refund may be sent.

DELIVERY - From the time we receive your order, we aim to deliver your goods to you within 14 working days (28 days for overseas deliveries). We use Royal Mail for overseas and small UK deliveries, or a national parcel carrier for larger UK deliveries for which a signature will be required. Postage and packaging charges are in addition to the purchase price and will be displayed on the order form.

DAMAGED/FAULTY GOODS - spinal.co.uk supply goods which are guaranteed to be durable and reliable. In the event that any product purchase proves to be unsatisfactory in use due to defective workmanship or faulty material, you can return it to us for a replacement or a full refund. Please telephone our main office on 0845 678 6633 to request a goods return form, which must accompany your returned order. Please address returned goods to: Spinal Injuries Association, SIA House, 2 Trueman Place, Oldbrook, Milton Keynes, MK6 2HH Your statutory rights are not affected.

ORDER CANCELLATION AND AMENDMENTS - Please note that once an order has been placed we are unable to cancel the order or make any amendments to the address or items ordered. You are entitled to return the whole order. The goods must be in their original packaging and be in the condition in which they were despatched in order for a full refund to be made. Where a refund is claimed, please allow 21 days for us to refund your money. Please telephone our main office on 0845 678 6633 to request a goods return form, which must accompany your returned order. Please send returns to the address above. For any queries or complaints about goods or services please contact us or write to the above address. We advise you to print and keep a copy of these terms and conditions for your records.

DONATIONS - The Spinal Injuries Association relies heavily on the generosity of its members and supporters for continuity of its services. You can make donations to SIA either by Direct Debit using our donation form (for regular giving), online through our shop, or you can phone us on 0845 678 6633 and speak with someone on our Fundraising team. We accept all major credit/debit cards.

SECURITY - When you place your order or make a donation online you are automatically connected to a secure server using SSL encryption technology. This ensures that the information you send cannot be read by anyone apart from our ecommerce team. To check you are in a secure area of our site please look at the bottom of your browser and you will see a closed padlock. When submitting your order you are confirming to purchase goods and allowing spinal.co.uk to use your personal details for the purpose of supplying goods.

DATA PROTECTION - As customers are a valuable asset we protect their details as required by UK Data Protection Acts 1984 and 1998. We follow strict security procedures in storage and disclosure of information that you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. Our security procedures mean that we may occasionally request proof of identity before we are able to disclose information to you. If you place an order and do not wish us to use your details other than for security checking purposes, then you can tick the box which features on the Cardholders Address and Contact Details page before you press continue.
