Training Room

SIA House has a large Training Room, ideal for seminars, group meetings and training sessions.  The room can be set up in theatre or board room style and can accommodate 50 people in theatre style or 30 around the boardroom table (approximately 20 if attendees are wheelchair users).

Computer access, a whiteboard and an overhead projector are available in the room to allow for presentations.   Floor boxes enable meeting participants to connect their lap tops.  Flip chart and marker pens are available.

Visitors to SIA House who are hiring the Training Room have full use of the adjoining wheelchair accessible kitchen facilities (subject to prior notification on booking).  These include an accessible fridge, freezer, microwave oven and dishwasher.  Drinks, lunches etc can be prepared here or catering stored on delivery.

There are four toilets, all wheelchair accessible, which have left and right handed transfer layouts and include low-level sinks and hand dryers. Two of the toilets are fitted with electric ceiling hoists, one with shower facilities.

There are twenty-four accessible car parking spaces; twelve of these are covered. The car park is available for the use of staff and visitors to SIA House. Regrettably, we are unable to reserve car parking spaces.
