I’ve had excruciating neuropathic pain since my injury in 1983 and have heard about a surgical procedure called DREZ (Dorsal Root Entry Zone) – I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has had this procedure.

Also any suggestions regarding medication ? I’ve tried Gabapentin, Pregabalin etc – they didn’t help me at all, in actual fact I fainted whilst on those medications and fell out of my wheelchair. The most recent medication I tried was Duloxetine which I had to stop as the side effects were very unpleasant – feeling very tired, suicidal thoughts – my GP seems completely useless too and doesn’t seem to understand just how much the neuropathic pain is affecting my quality of life. Any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated.</p>
