Give in celebration

It’s wonderful to celebrate birthdays, weddings, anniversaries or other special milestones. And when you ask family and friends to give a donation to us as an alternative to receiving traditional gifts, that’s really quite special.

It’s really easy to arrange for your friends and family to make a donation towards your celebration. We’ll make sure that we keep you up to date on how much has been raised. We’d also love to hear your story and why you have chosen to support us. And you’re welcome to share photos from your event (we’ll probably give you a shout-out on social media if you do).

Hints and tips

Send your guests the link to the donation page to encourage them to give. Tell your friends about our work and how we work to support spinal cord injured people – we can supply you with information on our current appeals and campaigns. Our SIA trolley tokens and pin badges are also available to give to your guests as a thank you or as wedding favours. Just ask us when you get in touch and we’ll get them sent to you.

My parents are grateful for all the support they’ve received from the people at SIA . . . for this reason, they wanted the celebration of their diamond wedding anniversary to be an opportunity to raise funds for your wonderful charity

Tell us about your celebration

Contact the supporter care team at [email protected] or call us on 01908 208 541 to tell us about your celebration. We’d love to know as much as possible about your event. Just let us know what type of event it is that you’re holding and when it’s taking place. We’ll then add your event to our celebration online donation page, so that you can invite friends and family to donate to us.

Donate to an existing celebration

Visit our ‘in celebration’ giving page where you can donate to the celebration of your choice. Alternatively you can call our supporter care team on 01908 208 541 and donate using a credit or debit card.

If you would like to send a donation in the post, cheques can be made payable to ‘Spinal Injuries Association’ and sent to SIA House, 2 Trueman Place, Oldbrook, Milton Keynes MK6 2HH.
