About this event

The London Marathon is one of the most popular marathons in the world and we are excited to cheer on Team SIA as they embark on this remarkable adventure, turning their passion into action and their miles into meaningful change.

Watch this space as we will be introducing you to them all very soon!

DONATE TO TEAM SIA

Official ballot and own place runners

In addition to applying directly with us, we highly recommend everyone applies for the London Marathon public ballot, as this will maximise your chances of taking part. If you are successful in the public ballot, you can still run for us and join Team SIA to receive all the same benefits. The public ballot for 2025 places has now closed and successful applicants have been infirmed via email. Find out more about the London 2025 ballot from the event organisers website.

All Team SIA runners receive:

  • A dedicated staff member on hand to offer you support, tips and advice along the way
  • A free Fundraising pack containing a branded T-Shirt, handy tips and ideas
  • You will become a part of our SIA Marathon team, we we’ll be there on the day to cheer you along and will provide a base for you and your friends and family
  • Connect to our Just Giving page for extra motivation; you will of course set up your own page with your individual target but you will also be contributing to the overall team target

Join Team SIA

We have a limited number of London Marathon places each year. As such, we ask anyone who is interested in running for us to fill out our application form as early as possible. This helps us shortlist all interested supporters and choose our runners. Please include as much detail as possible in your fundraising plans – we recommend at least three fundraising ideas to help you reach your £2,000 target and your motivation for supporting SIA.

Applications for our 2026 TCS London Marathon charity places will open after this years event

We usually review all applications a year in advance of the race (April 2025 onwards) and inform everyone if they have been successful before the end of July 2025 – please note these timings may change.
