Our counselling service

Spinal injury affects everyone, from the person who’s directly impacted to their friends, family and carers.
Hi I’m Ian Younghusband, your counsellor and wellbeing officer.
Dealing with spinal cord injury is tough. And that’s an understatement. Coming to terms with the physical health effects, and all the life-changing consequences of injury, can take its toll on your mental health.
I’m here to listen to your concerns and give you the support you need. I can also help you find other services where needed.
To get a one-to-one call with me, simply fill in the form by clicking below. I’ll be in touch with you as soon as possible. Remember that you’re not alone, and I’ll look forward to talking to you soon.
