Why choose us

Our priority is to meet your individual needs, whatever they may be. Clients always come first.

We’ll come and visit you and your loved ones, whether it’s at home, in hospital or another convenient place. It’s important that we get to know you, understand your needs and give you the support you need.

What make us different? It’s the other support we offer: things that you wouldn’t expect from a firm of solicitors. Our service is provided on a no-win, no-fee basis, so there’s no financial risk when making a claim. And we don’t take any success fee or shortfalls, meaning you keep 100% of your compensation.

Our services

Through specialist legal advice, together with financial, physical and emotional support, we’ll be on your side from day one. Our aim is to help your whole family and secure the best outcomes for your recovery. This is how we support you and go the extra miles:

Legal

  • We work with fewer clients than is typical in the legal sector, giving us more time for you and your family
  • We’re proactive and work intensively, so you get full compensation with no unnecessary delays

Financial

  • An emergency fund to help plug any gaps in your support right away
  • Help with benefits applications and support with appeal processes
  • Signposting to charities and other emergency funds

Physical

  • Client support managers with expert clinical experience will be part of your team from the start
  • We’ll give well-informed guidance about treatment and support, and liaise with the treatment team about discharge options
  • We can arrange and facilitate care packages and source aids and equipment

Emotional

  • We’ll listen carefully to you and your family to see what emotional needs need addressing, and make sure they’re part of your support plan

Tom’s story

When initially speaking to CFG Law, Tom was suffering from anxiety and low mood due to a lack of mental health support. He was also feeling isolated while finding it difficult to keep in touch with family and friends – many of whom lived a long way from his treatment centre.

Having spoken to Tom to understand the difficulties he was facing, we were keen to support him in any way we could.

Find out how we helped Tom stay in touch with his family – and how we sourced and funded private specialist therapy and a neuropsychologist to visit him on the ward.
