Telephone Counselling

Spinal cord injury is a traumatic event and coming to terms and adjusting to the many everyday challenges of living with an injury can be especially difficult, not only for the injured person but also for their close family and friends.

There may be times when you feel isolated, are unable to get out and about, have relationship or financial difficulties, are in pain or have other issues that you don’t feel able to talk through with your family.

SIA’s Telephone Counselling service gives you the chance to talk in complete confidence, free of charge, to a suitably qualified professional with experience of supporting spinal cord injured people, their relatives and friends.   We initially provide three sessions of 45 minutes although these can be extended where necesessary.

Book a session with the Telephone Counselling service by calling our Advice Line, in complete confidence, on 0800 980 0501.  They will agree with you a suitable date and time to begin counselling.  Alternatively, you can supply your details by completing the online booking form.
