Healthcare Professional Study Days
Our CPD-accredited Healthcare Professional Study Day programme is aimed at HCPs who work or have an interest in the field of spinal cord injury. Along with our SCI Nurse Specialists, we often invite speakers from Spinal Cord Injury Centres or other clinical settings who are experts in their field, so these days are a fantastic opportunity for non-specialist staff.
All events run 9am to 4pm (approx.) and lunch and refreshments are included.
Details of upcoming sessions are below.
**NEW** Good Clinical Practice in Spinal Cord Injury
Wednesday 27 May 2020; Health & Wellbeing Innovation Centre, Treliske, Truro TR1 3FF
Thanks to the generosity of Total Community Care, one of our Corporate Partners, we are able to offer HCPs the opportunity to book onto a session of our Good Clinical Practice in Spinal Cord Injury Study Day, which is usually purchased by organisations to be held inhouse. This Study Day looks at a range of areas affecting people with spinal cord injury such as bladder, bowel, skin and respiratory issues, and is designed to give an overview of these for non-specialists. The day will be facilitated by our SCI Nurse Specialists and Peer Support Officer for the South West, with Total Community Care also presenting, and is FREE to attend. The draft agenda can be viewed here, and if you would like to book a place or need more information please contact Karen using the details above.
Our cancellation/non-attendance policy applies to all training events.
