A Partner to help make life less complicated!

We are delighted to announce our newest partnership with PIC Legal – a firm specialising in drafting legal costs – who are coming on board to support SCI people navigate the sometimes-tricky waters of the legal process.

Working alongside our Trusted Legal Partners, PIC Legal’s staff will be on hand to offer their advice as impartial experts, breaking down some of the complex legal terminology and practices of the legal world, to help make them more digestible (at what we know is often a particularly tough time for someone adjusting to life after injury).

Our Partners Manager, Chris Massarella, shared a few thoughts to explain why we chose PIC Legal as partners, and what we hope to achieve together:

“PIC Legal have shown so many of the qualities we expected of Trusted Partners (going back years before partnerships were even an idea for SIA), so they were a natural fit as a firm for us to work with as part of our new support network.

As a group of people, they are so passionate about supporting the SCI community, and they really have gone above and beyond to support SIA. I have spent more than a couple of very rainy morning with them cheering on runners at challenge events, and likewise have seen then buzzing around the Cornflower Ball helping to look after guests, and enthusiastically sell raffle tickets year on year.

It is great to know they will be working with us as partners and doing even more to support our SCI members whenever they need it”.

Reuben Glynn, Managing Director at PIC Legal had the following to say about our partnership:

“We are so excited that Partners in Costs Ltd has become a Trusted Partner of the Spinal Injuries Association.  Our staff have loved supporting SIA with bucket collections, skydives, cheering people on at marathons and much more over the years, and we plan on doing plenty more in the future!

For over 21 years we have been involved in advising on legal costs on cases involving spinal injury, and we are looking forward to working closely with SIA, supporting SCI people going through the legal process: breaking down complex terms and practices into language and context that anyone can understand”.

We are very excited to be working with everyone at PIC Legal, and building on our existing relationship to offer even more support to the SCI community, when they need it the most.

The legal process can be very daunting, so to have an extra source of support to help people get through that process (alongside our legal partners), is something we hope really will make a difference.
