Coronavirus National Testing Programme now includes Personal Care Assistants.

Personal care assistants (PAs) and unpaid carers are now included on the list of essential workers who are prioritised for testing as part of the Government’s Coronavirus National Testing Programme. In addition, anyone with symptoms living with someone who is eligible for a test, is themselves also eligible for testing.

Testing takes place at a drive through testing site and anyone wishing to be tested will first have to obtain a letter from their employer confirming their employment and their eligibility to be tested.
