Face masks from SIA

We’re making sure that no vulnerable SCI person has to choose between their safety and the need to access essential care.

We know that SCI people, especially those with higher level injuries and as well, those with respiratory issues or who are immune deficient are at greater risk should they catch COVID-19. We also know that as lockdown measures are eased, SCI people want to know that they and their family, friends and carers are safe. Facemasks are one of the ways that can help reduce the spread of Coronavirus. Working with ESCIF (European Spinal Cord Injury Federation) , and with the generosity of the urology trade industry we are offering a free box of 50 facemasks to each full – SCI – member or to the family, friends and carers.

ESCIF is specifically aiming to help these groups by providing face masks over the coming months. The masks are available free of charge to members of ESCIF’s 32 national member organisations in 28 European countries.

However, we do need to pay for postage and packing and are therefore charging £5 per box for fulfilment, postage and packing. Orders are currently restricted to one per household.

Please note that the face masks are not suitable for use by carers when undertaking care that involves aerosol generating procedures. i.e. assisted cough, cough assist, suction, trache change.

Complete the form below to order your box of masks. (one per household only)

PLEASE NOTE – DUE TO OUR OFFICE REFURBISHMENT ORDERS WILL CURRENTLY BE DELAYED.
