Fresh start, fresh support

We’re delighted to announce that our network of support for spinal cord injured people is once again growing.

As we wrap up another challenging financial year and head excitedly into 2022/23, we’re delighted to announce that our network of support for spinal cord injured people is once again growing, helping us to fulfil our goal of giving every SCI person a range of options when accessing vital support for all aspects of their mind, body, and life.

This April, we have two companies – both of which share our passion, enthusiasm, and vision for a fulfilled life for everyone affected by spinal cord injury – which have pledged their support for our work by joining the SIA Business Membership Scheme.
It can be tough to choose the right service to meet your needs, every SCI person deserves to have access to the support they need, and it’s why we ensure that our Business Members – which complement our regional Trusted Partners – are all experts in their field, and committed to our goals.

An association for all

We continue to build an ‘association for all’ model, and we recognise the value in collaboration, to achieve this. Through this kind of working, we draw on expertise, create awareness, improve influence, and coordinate support services for everyone affected by SCI.

Our Business Members are a key component of the association. As well as their financial contribution, they lend their practical skills and emotional support, underpinning our services, and raising the voice of SIA and everyone we represent.

Most of our Business Members are no stranger to SIA and have been working with us and the SCI community for many years, it’s great to know that they’re happy to continue their support through our Business Membership Scheme, and we welcome the chance to work collaboratively with organisations which share our ethos and values.

Welcome on board

We’re thrilled to share details of the two firms which have lent their support to SIA by joining our Business Membership Scheme this April.

Vijay Majithia, Managing Director

“Having represented so many clients over my career who have suffered spinal injuries, I have a deep understanding of the serious and wide-ranging impact that they have upon every aspect of life, both for the individual and for their family and friends. But I also know how specialist spinal injuries solicitors can make a huge difference by focusing not just on the necessary legal aspects of the case, but also on maximising case management and rehabilitation, funding for aids, equipment and support wherever needed, opportunities for career development, family and home life, hobbies and so on. I am proud to lead the specialist spinal injuries teams at Fletchers, and we never take for granted how privileged we are to be trusted by our clients to represent them.”
