Further fantastic additions to our Trusted Partnerships scheme

As you may have seen in our recent news updates, we have begun to build our network of Trusted Partners across the country, starting with firms who can help support our members with expert legal support and advice – with eight firms joining SIA as trusted partners so far.

We are delighted to announce that as of today, three more firms will be joining our group of Trusted Partners, with Higgs & Sons, Hugh James and NewLaw all coming on board to help us reach more SCI people and offer their expertise to anyone who needs it.

With Higgs & Sons and Hugh James offering their support in the West Midlands, and NewLaw similarly offering their expertise across Wales and the border regions, we are now able to offer increased support across the whole of England and Wales: to make sure that any SCI person we are supporting has quick, easy access to specialist legal support, to help make the transition to life after SCI that much easier.

All three firms have a long history of supporting SIA, and as partners they are making a huge commitment to helping us move our ambitious new support network model forward – allowing us to reach more SCI people through their networks, raise more awareness and funding, and give greater weight to our campaigning.

We would like to say a big thank you to all three firms for joining us on our exciting journey and we could not be happier to be working with such enthusiastic and passionate Partners. We are looking forward to working with them all, and a great year ahead!

“We’re honoured to be SIA’s trusted legal partner for the West Midlands region and our teams are passionate about helping those affected by SCI. This partnership allows us to work holistically with SIA rebuilding the lives of those who have suffered life-changing injuries whilst supporting SIA’s outstanding work within the wider SCI community.” Andy Shaw, Head of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, Higgs & Sons Solicitors

“The specialist team at Hugh James are really pleased to be working in partnership with SIA in the West Midlands, delivering a vital service to those facing daily challenges as a consequence of SCI. It’s great to bring our legal expertise to complement the fantastic work the charity is already doing in the region.” Cari Sowden-Taylor, Partner, Hugh James

NewLaw Solicitors are delighted to be selected by the Spinal Injuries Association as the trusted legal partner for South Wales and Borders.  We are passionate about providing people with SCIs with the best legal support.  Our specialist team has extensive knowledge of supporting those with SCIs but through this partnership we are looking forward to growing our knowledge further.” Nicola Edwards, Head of Specialist Claims,  NewLaw Solicitors
