Thank-you to Trethowans

Trethowans recently raised £5,000 for SIA through its annual fundraising dinner.  The popular event, held in Salisbury on Friday (30 November ), saw guests and colleagues of the personal injury team enjoy an evening of fun in aid of the charity. A raffle and live auction, along with ticket sales, helped to contribute to the £5000 total raised.

Rhiannon Daniel, from Trethowans’ personal injury team, said: “It was an absolute pleasure to host this dinner in aid of the Spinal Injuries Association and we are so pleased with how much has been raised. The charity does such important work for those with spinal cord injuries and we know the money will go to such good use supporting these people and their families.”

Trethowans, is one of our long-standing supporters – the firm’s personal injury team is a Gold supporter of the charity and over the years staff have taken on several fundraising challenges for the cause, including an epic 68-mile walk and climbing over the O2.

The money raised by Trethowans and other corporate sponsors of SIA helps us to provide vital support to SCI people across the UK.    Last year alone we gave face-to-face support to more than 550 people with spinal cord injuries, 170 family members and 2200 healthcare professionals.

As a company there are many ways that you can support SIA.  More details of our Corporate Membership scheme are available here.

Charity of the Year partnerships are also an excellent way to engage your staff with corporate social responsibility and can start from one event. If you are thinking about who to adopt for 2019 and would like further information please email Chris Massarella
