Williams Racing

Williams Racing is a leading Formula One team and advanced engineering company. Formed in 1977 by Sir Frank Williams and Patrick Head, the Formula One team has secured 16 FIA Formula One World Championship titles since its foundation.

In February 2015, Williams Racing announced SIA as their official charity partner.

Williams Racing and SIA have had a long association starting when Williams Founder and Team Principal, Sir Frank Williams, became spinal cord injured following a car accident in 1986. Sir Frank received support from SIA as he recuperated and returned back to work, subsequently leading the Williams team to 12 Formula One World Championship Titles. Sir Frank and the Williams organisation have stayed in close contact with SIA ever since, with the team hosting events  for SIA at its Grove headquarters and Deputy Team Principal Claire Williams OBE becoming Vice President for SIA.  As part of this increased commitment, Williams and SIA will be working together to raise awareness of the work we do.
