About this event
Our local community groups are a great way of connecting to other SCI people, their friends and families and they offer regular opportunities to socialise.
IMPORTANT UPDATE! … Due to an issue with room availability, the Lichfield meeting dates are changing from May 2026. From now on the meetings will be on the last Tuesday of each month from 2-4pm.

Meet your host – Brendan
Hello! My name is Brendan and I’m your SIA regional support coordinator in the West Midlands. I was injured in 1998 as a result of a fall from a wall. I sustained a C5/6 spinal cord injury and spent a year at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. It’s left me with limited mobility and sensation from the shoulders down.
If you’ve recently become injured, already living with a spinal cord injury, or are close to someone who is, you’re in the right place. You can book a support session, book a call or find out more about the upcoming community groups by contacting your local support coordinator.
