Join team SIA for an unforgettable five day adventure, combining camaraderie, culture, and a cause. In 2025 this flagship event will celebrate its 11th year and takes place in beautiful Northern Italy.

Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or taking on your first challenge, this event promises an extraordinary blend of adventure, friendship, and purpose. However, this is no leisurely ride, it’s a challenge that will test your endurance and determination as you cover significant distances each day. With the support of your fellow riders and a shared goal driving you forward.

We’re proud to make this event accessible to people with spinal cord injuries and welcome the opportunity to discuss how we can support your participation in more detail. Plus, we’ll be with you every step of the way to help you smash your fundraising goals, providing tips, tools, and encouragement to ensure your efforts make a meaningful impact.

• The ride will take place across three days, with travel days either side.

Registration

Choose from two options, to ensure SIA can cover the trip costs and raise enough to continue providing life-changing support, to our members and their loved ones for many more years to come.

Option one- self-funded

Cover the full trip cost of £1,409 (payable as a £200 deposit and the balance due 6 weeks before the event) and fundraise to a target of £600

Ride itinerary

Spend three days cycling through Northern Italy, starting at the enchanting canals of Venice and ending in the historic city of Bologna. With travel days on either side, this experience offers plenty of time to bond with fellow riders, share stories, and celebrate each day’s achievements. Along the route, you’ll pedal through stunning countryside, charming villages, and rolling landscapes, soaking up the region’s rich culture and indulging in authentic Italian cuisine.

• Day one: Venice to Vicenza 94km
• Day two: Vicenza to Mantua 111km
• Day three: Mantua to Bologna 121km

Total distance: 326km

Single or double room requests

• Single rooms are limited on this trip, we would encourage you to share a twin where possible as the majority of the rooms available are twins.
• If you do wish to request a single room, you will need to select a twin room initially and then request a single room on the next page of the booking process.
• After you have made your booking please contact the Sportive Breaks team on [email protected] or +44 161 676 0390 with your booking reference. They will then be in touch to confirm availability and if so, arrange for the single room supplement of £280-£300pp to be paid.
• Double rooms may be available on special request, please ask the booking provider after booking.
