About this event
Local community groups are a great way of connecting to other people with SCI, their friends and families and they offer regular opportunities to socialise.
Scarborough spinal cord injury community group usually meets the first Thursday of every month 11.30am-1.30pm. Email [email protected] for more information. We look forward to seeing you there.
Meet Your Host – Joe
Hello! My name is Joe, and I’m your regional support coordinator in Yorkshire. I sustained a T10 to L2 spinal cord injury after a biking accident whilst working in Aberdeen. The first few months of my recovery I had very little movement in my legs but have since regained the ability to walk using a stick, but I still use a wheelchair for longer distances.
If you’ve recently become injured, already living with a spinal cord injury, or are close to someone who is, you’re in the right place. You can book a support session, book a call or find out more about the upcoming community groups by contacting your local support co-ordinator.
