Gym Possible

Gym Possible exists to make exercise accessible. Founded by Drew Graham following a C4 spinal cord injury in 2014, the charity was created to address the lack of suitable exercise provision in the North East of England.
‘Making Exercise Accessible’
They define accessibility in three ways:
- Physically accessible
- Financially accessible
- Culturally accessible
Their gyms are purpose built for wheelchair users and people with mobility impairments. They operate fully accessible facilities at Gateshead Leisure Centre and Tumble Gymnastics in Benton, equipped with specialist adaptive equipment to support a wide range of physical abilities.
In addition to our physical gym in Newcastle, we also provide free, online, adapted fitness programs for our followers from all over the world. Our programs consist of a combination of pre-recorded videos and Facebook live sessions.
As a charity, we subsidise memberships and personal training to keep costs low. We also foster a welcoming, inclusive environment and provide a large online library of accessible fitness content, extending our reach beyond the gym.
