Good clinical practice in spinal cord injury - virtual

Various dates from October to November 2025

About this course

This study day gives an overview of the key issues affecting people with spinal cord injury, such as autonomic dysreflexia, bladder and bowel management and care of the skin, and provides a fantastic opportunity for NHS Trusts, care agencies and other organisations to upskill a group of staff in these important areas of SCI care. Our SCI Nurse Specialists have many years’ experience working in spinal cord injury centres, and all members of our Support Network Team live with spinal cord injury, so this is a unique opportunity to learn from experts.

Delegates

Healthcare professionals working in non-specialist settings who would like to increase their awareness of the complex issues affecting people with spinal cord injury. This module is suitable for Registered Nurses and HCAs, personal assistants and carers, but as content is tailored to the audience, it may be more beneficial to keep your delegates to one group if you are booking an inhouse session.

We offer this study day in two formats, to find out more about the inhouse format click here.
