About this course

A virtual education module for occupational therapists, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals with an interest in this area

Discharging a person with spinal cord injury (SCI) is a complex and often challenging process requiring careful planning, coordination and specialist knowledge. This education module is designed to support healthcare professionals to deliver safe, effective and person-centred discharges.

Facilitated and developed by SIA’s specialist therapists, this half day session explores the clinical, environmental and financial considerations that influence discharge planning, alongside contributions from people with lived experience.
