SIA are delighted to announce that Lois Norris has become an SIA Ambassador

Lois Norris SIA AmbassadorOver the last ten years, Lois Norris has developed knowledge of the practical challenges faced by people living with spinal cord injury due to her work as a barrister.

Lois believes that a detailed understanding is essential to providing informed advocacy, effective support and improved long-term outcomes for individuals and their families.

“I’m thankful and excited to become an ambassador for the Spinal Injuries Association and will use this platform to raise awareness, tackle challenges, and advocate for individuals with spinal cord injuries.”

“SIA and its members have taught me so much over the last ten years. They’ve also introduced me to some wonderful friends. Healthcare inequality in the UK in 2026 is unacceptable and I’m excited to use this platform to tackle change with this brilliant cohort. Let’s go!”

SIA Ambassadors

Our ambassadors play a vital role in raising public awareness of spinal cord injury and Spinal Injuries Association. Talking authoritatively about their own personal experience of spinal cord injury, they raise awareness of our work, campaign across the spinal cord injury community and beyond, whilst acting as powerful role models and agents for support.
