Supporting individuals with SCI requires understanding, clinical insight, and a person-centred approach that recognises the complexity of each individual’s needs, something that comes naturally to Origin due to the unique circumstances of its founders. Peter Henry (Chairman) has a complete C5/6 spinal cord injury, whilst Linda Adamsen has a long career in Care Management.

Origin achieved TDDI registration in 2025, a distinction held by very few care providers: this reflects robust governance, rigorous training standards and a deep commitment to safe, high-quality, specialist care. For clients, it provides reassurance that they are supported by a provider operating at the highest professional standards.

Origin has also strengthened its impact through education, making their industry leading training courses CPD-accredited, enabling PAs to carry recognised qualifications with them throughout their careers. By equipping carers with portable, accredited qualifications, Origin is helping to future-proof the workforce and elevate standards in specialist spinal injury support nationwide.
