Fundraising Groups
Support people with spinal cord injury in your area
Fundraising group volunteers are an essential part of growing the reach of Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) in order to support all those people affected by spinal cord injury.
Volunteering is a superb way of learning new skills and improving mental health. It’s also a brilliant way of giving back, switching off, and meeting new people.
By being a part of a fundraising group, you will become a champion for SIA! You will attend local events, maybe take part in school talks, and work with businesses and other organisations in the community, sharing our campaigns and fundraising messaging to a wider audience. But don’t worry, there will be lots of opportunities for you to increase understanding of spinal cord injury (SCI), and you will be invited along to our regular online ‘Share the Knowledge’ sessions with our experts.
SIA will ensure you are fully supported and will offer a menu of fundraising ideas with pre-designed marketing materials and budgeting to select from. Of course that won’t stop your creativity should you have an idea for a new event or wish to add a local flavour to your fundraising!
