Share your story

Every experience of spinal cord injury is different. Whether you have a spinal cord injury yourself, support someone who does, are a family member or friend, or work as a healthcare professional, we want to hear from you.
Sharing your story can help others feel less alone, raise awareness of the realities of life with spinal cord injury, challenge misconceptions and help us campaign for better support, services and change. You don’t need to be a confident writer and your story doesn’t need to be extraordinary. We’re interested in real experiences, in your own words.
Why we’re asking you to share …
At Spinal Injuries Association, the experiences of people affected by spinal cord injury are at the heart of what we do. Stories help us bring important issues to life. They can help someone newly injured see what life after spinal cord injury can look like, help families and friends understand that they are not alone, educate healthcare professionals and the wider public, and strengthen our campaigning work.
By completing the form below, you’re telling us that you’re interested in sharing your experience with SIA.
