Complexus Care is a specialist complex care provider for people with spinal cord injury in England and our trusted care partner in the East of England and East Midlands regions.

Since joining the scheme, they have been very proactive in raising awareness of the work of SIA. Their contribution to our Forward magazine, through a thoughtfully written article on bowel and bladder medication for people with SCI, has helped shine a light on an often overlooked but critical aspect of care, empowering both individuals and professionals with greater understanding.

They have also provided practical, person-centred guidance by advising individuals within SIA on managing their personal medications, ensuring safer and more informed care choices. Their active participation in SCI community groups further demonstrates their dedication, where they shared expertise on navigating complex care in the community for people with spinal injuries.

Complexus Care attended key SIA events, including our Gunpowder Ball fundraiser and the SIA House Open Day, strengthening connections and visibility within the community. In addition, they have held discussions with the Enterprise Manager around SIA Healthcare, exploring how these services could better support individuals with SCI now and into the future.

Importantly, they have proactively engaged with our Advocacy team to access specialist support for individuals receiving inappropriate care, helping ensure people receive the quality and dignity of care they deserve.
