SIA launches new three year programme of care partnerships
Following a successful pilot of our trusted care partnerships, we are pleased to share that SIA is launching a new three-year programme of care partnerships to help people affected by spinal cord injury (SCI) get the right care and support, when and wherever they need it.
Before the end of the two-year care partnerships, we reviewed the pilot programme with our trusted care partners to ascertain what worked well and where we could make improvements. We are pleased to say that all our partners from the pilot programme will continue to partner with us.
For the next three years, we will be working with 8 specialist care providers across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We will have 6 regional and 2 national partners, so people have a choice about who they work with and can find the support that feels right for them.
These partnerships help us move closer to our vision of a fulfilled life for everyone affected by spinal cord injury, by making sure people can access quality care provision that supports their independence and long-term wellbeing.
We would like to thank the care companies who supported our community during the previous partnership period. We now look forward to our continued collaboration over the next three years.
